Crystal Mallon Kershaw is an artist and plant practitioner, whose work enquires after the curative potential of plant-infused spaces and forms.
Her site-responsive practice is led by the local landscape, frequently using materials of botanical or organic origin, to create grown spaces, installation or sculpture.
Outcomes are temporal and experiential in essence. Recurrent themes in her work are wonder, risk, sensoriality, interspecies collaboration and therapeutic exchange.
She lives by the coast in the SW Alentejo region of Portugal.
